You can download the example from my public idisk folder -
http://idisk.mac.com/dmosan-Public/
Open the html file, expand the 2nd line, collapse it, then expand it again and notice it now shows up under the wrong line.

Do you happen to know whether this is a regression from a previous version of Safari?

Yeah, pretty sure it is. OmniWeb 5.7 doesn't have this issue and it uses the webkit revision from around Safari 3.0.

Repros in Safari 3.1.1. Does not repro in Safari 3.0.4.

Test Case - Reference Video (Safari) I am unable to reproduce this bug in Safari Technology Preview 194 on macOS Sonoma and I tried to reduce window size to see if it is reproducible. Safari is matching in behaviour for this test case with Chrome Canary 127 and Firefox Nightly 128 as well. Also tried to see if the website from

is on wayback archive but it wasn't. I am going to mark this as 'RESOLVED CONFIGURATION CHANGED'. Please reopen, if it is still reproducible.
