Calling console.profile doesn't update the ProfilesPanel(when it's open)

What do you mean? Should it show you that you have started profiling? If so see: https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19947 Or is there some other information that you were expecting to be updated? In general we lazily populate panels in the Inspector.
