Summary Links clicked in TweetDeck have "%00" appended

Reported 2008-07-05 09:10:31 PDT
If a link is clicked in TweetDeck (a Twitter client, and an Adobe Air application), the link gets a "%00" appended at the end in the URL bar, and the server of course responds with a 404. I believe other Air apps exhibit the same behaviour. Safari 3.1.2 does not have the problem.

Can you reproduce this issue in Safari or WebKit outside of AIR? If not, I would recommend you file this bug report with Adobe at <http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform> so that they can investigate the issue. The version of WebKit they use is not the same as the one hosted in webkit.org SVN, so it would be difficult for anyone else to investigate the problem.

On a second read, my initial report wasn't very clear - sorry! The "WebKit" in the report refers to WebKit.app, as downloaded from nightly builds. The details of the bug are: 0. Set default browser to WebKit.app 1. Install and run TweetDeck (from http://www.tweetdeck.com/beta/TweetDeck_0_15.air ) 2. Login with some twitter user id 3. Click on a user name, then on a link to the twitter home page (or any other link) Result: WebKit.app opens a new page, but there is a "%00" attached to the URL,as can be seen in the URL bar of the browser. If the same procedure is followed with Safari.com as default browser, everything works as expected. Firefox and Camino also show the page as expected. Hope this is a little clearer.
