when configuring webkit source, I get a dependency error that my libsoup-dev version is too high (2.4.1) and it requires 2.4. can someone please fix this?

Is there any more information on this bug? Is libsoup 2.23 required? This is the error I get during configure: checking for LIBSOUP... configure: error: Package requirements (libsoup-2.4 >= 2.23) were not met: Requested 'libsoup-2.4 >= 2.23' but version of libsoup is 2.4.1 Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you installed software in a non-standard prefix. Alternatively, you may set the environment variables LIBSOUP_CFLAGS and LIBSOUP_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config. See the pkg-config man page for more details.

Bug is too old and seems already fixed long time ago. I can say ticket is resolved here? :)
