Description kfeld 2008-05-14 16:24:17 PDT
I have my firewall on the setting "Set access for specific services and applications." When any other application besides Webkit wants to access the internet, it asks me if I want to allow network connections, or disallow. On safari (not webkid nightly), it asked me once, I said allow, and then it never asked me again. With Webkit, it asks me almost everytime (almost 100% sure it's been every time) when it's opened. I looked in the firewall, it's clearly on the list of applications, along with safari, as "Allow incoming connections."

macOS has evolved and Safari as well including WebKit project. If we have similar issue, we would have newer bug reports or Apple Feedback to resolve them.

Marking this as 'RESOLVED WONTFIX' sicne it seems to be macOS feature restricting applications due to firewall settings rather than something wrong in WebKit project.

Please reopen, if it is legitimate bug and I have approach it incorrectly.
