Steps to reproduce: 1. Log into Facebook 2. Click several times on the Online Friends text at the bottom of the page, until the entire bar at the bottom of the page is selected, as indicated by highlighting. 3. Click on some text elsewhere on the page. Expected results: Highlighting at the bottom of the page will disappear. Actual results: Highlighting at the bottom of the page persists. Resizing the window, or focussing a different browser window or tab causes the highlighting to disappear.

Forgot to add: Happens in 3.1.1 and r32862. Don't know if it's a regression from a previous version.

I can't reproduce this bug in the Web Archive, I cannot login.

16 years… Facebook has changed many times over.
