I am able to reproduce this bug in Safari 16 and Safari Technology Preview 154 using attached test case and as mentioned in Comment 0, we don't get "Black" rectangle, while both Chrome Canary 108 and Firefox Nightly 107 show "Black" rectangles. Thanks!
