The fields and buttons of the java applet used to log on securely on my web bank are displayed improperly and make the web site unsuable.
Created attachment 19707 [details] Screenshot where the problem is visible On the left, the nightly build of webkit (wrong display) and on the right, Safari 3 (correct display)
Note that the applet is displayed incorrectly only the first time I load the page in the browser. If I press Cmd-R to reload the page, it displays properly the apple. All subsequent attempts are displayed correctly as well. If I quit Safari and reopens the page, it displays the applet wrong again.
And yet another funny behavior. If I reload the page to get the applet to display properly, then switch to another tab and come back to the page of the applet, the buttons and text fields are completely messed up, with a different result each time :-D
The are no java applets on that page. Also I cannot reproduce the reported problem. Remi, is it still reproducible to you?
Created attachment 22559 [details] Screenshots of the issue Yes, the problem can still be reproduced with the latest nigthly build. I realized that when you do not have the cookies and the signature file from my web bank installed, the applet does not show immediately, but I have managed to reproduce the issue without those files. 1) open the url and type the information as shown in screenshot 1 http://www.amagerbanken.dk/amagerbanken/netbank.nsf/netbank3b?Openframeset Then press Next ( næste ) 2) you can see a empty page. There is an applet but the controls are hidden (I think they are further below) 3) press reload ( cmd-R ) and retype the information, and press next again 4) You can see the applet properly --- The screenshots in the attached zip file are corresponding to those steps. I have added 2 more screenshots (5 and 6), when the JVM is loading the applet, where it is clear that there is something wrong in the layout ... 1 - Login parameters and options 2 - After pressing Næste - This is NOT normal 3 - Reload the page 4 - Press again Næste - This is normal 5 - Sun loading logo wrongly placed with webkit nightly 6 - Sun loading icon properly placed with safari 3
Here are more details about this bug, so you can have a look at it again...
