Dock to side looks better and most people seem to prefer that.

Off the top of my head: - In Debugger, watch expressions are unusable in narrow sidebar; - In Debugger and Resources, the console prompt is too narrow when both sidebars are open; - Network tab is nearly useless as most column only show ellipses. I'd like to dock to right more often, but I can't use Web Inspector in that mode for my day-to-day tasks.
