Description Christian Dywan 2008-01-15 07:45:59 PST
Apparently I am suddenly unable to upload any patches to bugs.webkit.org. Tested on Linux 2 with Opera and Firefox 2. Au contraire I can upload any files just fine on a number of other websites.

This problem doesn't affect all users.

The URL refers to one of the patches for reference since I can't attach it to the bug.

Christian, what happens when you try to upload the patch? Do you get an error message? Does the upload never complete? If it never completes, this is probably a duplicate of bug 16810.

This works fine for me. Nothing has changed in the Bugzilla configuration recently. Log messages from Apache on bugs.webkit.org say the following:

[Tue Jan 15 07:24:20 2008] [error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] (70007)The timeout specified has expired: Error reading request entity data, referer: http://bugs.webkit.org/attachment.cgi
[Tue Jan 15 08:36:40 2008] [error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] request failed: error reading the headers, referer: https://bugs.webkit.org/attachment.cgi?bugid=16882&action=enter

This suggests there's a network problem somewhere on the way between your machine and bugs.webkit.org. Not sure what, if anything, we can do about that.

After a very long timeout error 400 or 500 are reported, it doesn't look like bug 16810 to me.

In fact I can't even use the detailed bug search form, probably for the same reason.

I wouldn't know what could possibly go wrong that I can influence except my ISP does something weird behind the scenes.

I am going to try again in a cuple of hours and see if anything changes.

I can apparently upload/ search again, so I'm closing this bug.

Re-opening to close as INVALID (WONTFIX is a valid bug that we decided not to fix for some reason).
