Go to bug url. Resize text field wider, by grabbing resize widget and moving to the right; make sure to not change the height of the box. Note, that as the 'solve' button slides to the right, a line is left behind underneath where it started. Changing the height of the box eliminates the line. Also note, I started with the window at the width produced when clicking twice on the green zoom button on the Safari window. Tested with r28997 on 10.4.11 with Safari 3.0.4 (523.12.2)

I think it's a known issue that button shadows aren't always completely repainted, but Mitz would know if this is new or not.

Could be related to (or a dup of) bug 9647

Yeah, looks like what remains of bug 9647, but since that one was about a bigger problem that's been fixed, I will close it and leave this one open.
