Actually, Firefox 3 beta renders the test case exactly like WebKit. I believe that this bug is a duplicate and that WebKit's rendering is correct.

It would appear Opera, IE6/7, and FF2 all render this differently from Safari and FF3.

WebKit renders this the same as IE10, FF22, and Opera Presto. Closing.
