I'm not sure if this is a possible duplicate with 161228, but found in Safari Technology Preview v 12. When trying to fetch a blob with the fetch API, the content type is empty: Test-Case: https://jsfiddle.net/LL5trcfz/3/

Thanks for filing this bug. The jsfiddle works well on latest WebKit trunk. It should be fine on next Safari Tech preview.
