It doesn't really add anything, and it's distracting. It doesn't work well when stepping quickly. Also Xcode doesn't do it, and we try to match their style. (Requested by smfr.)

Yeah! This bothers me too. It was only ever meant to be used when jumping to a line, not for stepping.
