Created attachment 280042 [details] Attached document What steps will reproduce the problem? 1) Open attachment document in Safari 9.1 or newer. 2) Drag & drop second link to place right next to it. What is the expected result? Second link should be hovered. What happens instead? First link is hovered.

I can reproduce, both in shipping WebKit and in a nightly. The behavior seems pretty erratic. The bug doesn't always reproduce as is - when I drag fast, it doesn't happen.

I can't reproduce this in 2022 (Safari 15.5+)
