RESOLVED CONFIGURATION CHANGED Bug 152488
SVG's don't animate when within an a visited anchor element
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=152488
Summary SVG's don't animate when within an a visited anchor element
Chris Drackett
Reported 2015-12-21 12:34:34 PST
If there is an SVG animation within a link that has been visited the animation will not play. In the following example, if you have been to apple.com the animation will not play. If you remove the href from the link (or enter a random link that isn't visited), the animation will play without issue. http://codepen.io/anon/pen/WrxOVX

I am unable to reproduce this bug using attached "Simple Reduction" on Safari Technology Preview 152 and Safari 15.6.1 and also same is case with other two test cases in "Comment 0 and Comment 01" and in all cases, there is animation, which is similar to other browsers (Chrome Canary 107 and Firefox Nightly 106). Since all browsers are matching each other, I am going to mark this as "RESOLVED CONFIGURATION CHANGED". Thanks! Please reopen if you think it is still reproducible with updated test case. Thanks!
