* SUMMARY Opening the BBC History Figures page in Safari/WebKit takes much longer than it should. Both Firefox 2.0.0.6 and Opera 9.21 are easily 2x faster. * STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Launch Safari/WebKit. 2. Go to URL: http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/historic_figures/ * RESULTS The page takes around 10 seconds to load on a Quad G5 with the Safari 3 Public Beta v. 3.0.3. The same page takes about 2 seconds on Firefox or Opera. * REGRESSION Not tested with Safari 2.0.4 (419.3), so unknown if this is a regression.
