Description Jesse Pearson 2007-06-25 15:24:47 PDT
When attempting to right-click and paste into an input box that has multiple spaces between the existing text and input cursor, all spaces between the two are selected.

For instance:

This is the text I've already typed in here is the text I pasted in.

If I were to right-click after the spacing, it would select all the spaces and I have to press the arrow key. It happens with 1 to infinity spaces. On Windows it selects just one space.

I just wanted to add that the behavior is reminiscent to double clicking. When double clicking a word or item in an input box, it tends to select the entire word (or spacing) on Mac OS X.

I can confirm the behavior and also bug report as enhancement request, but I doubt it will be considered for fixing.
