0. Enable Popup blocking 1. Go to
https://www.club4aces.com/club4aces/Poker/Poker-Web-Client.aspx
2. Click the ' To start the poker client simply click here.' in the main frame Expected result: A popup window with the web client java applet shown. Actual result: No popup. The same page is reloaded. If I disable Popup blocking the popup window opens as expected.

Does Safari need a popup blocking whitelist like Firefox?

Confirmed with a local debug build of WebKit
r23748
with Safari 3.0 (522.12) on Mac OS X 10.4.10 (8R218).

Whitelisting shouldn't be needed for sane websites, but then again... Feels like a workaround for broken sites. As I recall firefox (or rather epiphany) popup blocking doesn't block this popup, but I'd have to check.

Seems like the website was using Java plugin and plugins in general are gone, so nothing which can be fixed or needs to be fixed.
