Description Xabier Rodríguez Calvar 2014-07-16 09:15:36 PDT
1. Open Google Calendar
2. Set a task with a close popup alarm.
3. Move to other tab and/or virtual desktop (this might not be needed)
4. Wait for the popup to appear, don't move to the browser window/tab
5. Observe CPU usage.

I am not sure if this is WebKit2 API problem or something related to the web process itselft, though my first intuition says WK2 API.

The version I tried is 2.4.4.

With Epiphany / GNOME Web.
