If PAGE INSPECTOR should have Debugger (Page Inspector) of Webkit should provide a 3D-View of the document like the image shown in the attachment. Such that, document looks like a stack of layers with each layer corresponding to visually computable & Visible upon changing its visibility. 
It would facilitate developers to check if overlaps of elements are occurring correctly and have much clarity about page content.
