Box-shadows don't properly repaint when contained inside another element. In the testcase - 1. Click trigger shadow, no shadow will paint along the right/bottom sides. 2. Click again to hide the box, the shadow along the top/left sides remains. 3. Click to show it again and switch to another tab. 4. Switch back and click to hide it, the entire shadow remains.

I think one of bug 12729 and this bug is enough for this issue :-)
