Go here: http://dashif.org/reference/players/javascript/0.2.5/index.html Turn off ABR (to work around a bug), then click Load in the top left corner. The video will play through, but it will display 00:00 / 04:20 the entire time.

Possibly related to the duration query not properly done on the mediasource element?

Looking into that now, for YouTube the position is properly reported with my changes from bug #139441. I wonder if this is broken position reporting, or related to us not reported the rendered/dropped/etc frames properly yet.

Not reproducible anymore with the oldest available version version of the Dashif player (1.3.0) nor with the newest one (2.5.0).
