Programs doesn't load and give a server error instead. Doesn't happen on latest stable Safari
As far as I can tell from visually comparing against Mac Firefox 21.0, the program loaded and the geocentric orbits animation began to play when I visited <http://www.khanacademy.org/cs/geocentric-orbits/4520289299857408> tonight, 10/28/2013, at 11:27 PM PST. I used nightly r158141 with Safari Version 7.0 (9537.71, 538+) on OS X 10.9 (13A603). For completeness, I noticed the following console error: Unable to post message to https://kasandbox.org. Recipient has origin http://www.khanacademy.org. There were also numerous CSS syntax warnings. When I have a moment I'll look to further investigate this warning. @Georgij: I know its been a while since you filed this bug. Can you further elaborate on the issue and what you mean by it "doesn't load"? You mentioned that a "server error" was shown. Such errors aren't typically associated with a browser/engine issue. How did you come to decision to file a WebKit bug for this issue? I assume you filed this issue since you were able to load this web page using a non-WebKit-based browser (e.g. Firefox)?
(In reply to comment #0) > Doesn't happen on latest stable Safari Also, do you recall the version of Safari you were using when you experienced this issue?
For completeness, the geocentric orbits animations plays for me in shipping Safari Version 7.0 (9537.71).
Created attachment 215367 [details] Archive of KhanAcademy geocentric orbits page Web archive of <http://www.khanacademy.org/cs/geocentric-orbits/4520289299857408> (downloaded 10/28/2013 @ 11:44 PM PST).
I was testing on the latest Webkit for Safari at that time. And was running on Safari 6.0.5 (I think), it was the latest non-beta at that time
Could you please confirm that this doesn't happen in currently shipping Safari versions, nor in nightlies? We should close the bug as WORKSFORME if so.
