Description Alexey Proskuryakov 2013-10-01 14:54:04 PDT
Looking at <http://build.webkit.org/builders/Apple%20MountainLion%20Release%20%28Perf%29> for example, I get a very useful view of bot's history:

Time Revision	Result	Build #	Info
Oct 01 10:48	156716	failure	#6635	Failed 1 perf tests failed
Oct 01 08:43	156710	success	#6634	Build successful
Oct 01 06:39	156709	success	#6633	Build successful
Oct 01 04:37	156704	failure	#6632	Failed 1 perf tests failed
Oct 01 02:33	156701	success	#6631	Build successful

Times help me see if the bot is sick (e.g. very few builds coming out). More history is essential for a general feeling of what's going on, one previous run doesn't cut it for bots that aren't normally green.

Links to buildslaves from this page are sometimes useful too.

I don't think that dashboard main view should be cluttered. Maybe simply a direct link to this page would suffice?

I would love to see a more user-friendly page like the one you link to, in a form that makes it easy to (manually) binary search for things (e.g. the start of a failing API test).

Simon, could you please elaborate on how this would work?

I'm now thinking that we could have a popover with a simplified version of this page, but I'm not sure what's needed for the binary search.
