Mouse events are occasionally dropped from SVG code, causing text selection see example. Try dragging the circle around, and watch the text below it occasionally select.

You can see similar mouse event issues when mousing around: http://www.carto.net/papers/svg/samples/polys.shtml Notice how the status line flickers. Maybe it's a separate bug?
