Description Kevin M. Dean 2006-11-16 08:17:12 PST
Shockwave doesn't register initial mouseDown unless mouse moves. Broken in Safari and Webkit. Works in Firefox.
Comment 1 Lewis Francis 2007-12-21 12:04:10 PST
Still a problem in Safari 3.
Comment 2 Kevin M. Dean 2007-12-21 12:09:47 PST
Seems to work correctly in my Safari 3 now under Leopard, are you still in Tiger?
Comment 3 Lewis Francis 2007-12-21 12:58:43 PST
Yup, MacBook Pro on Leopard 10.5.1, Safari 3.0.4, running natively.
Comment 4 Kevin M. Dean 2007-12-21 13:16:27 PST
That's odd that in now works fine for me then under 10.5.1. The only other difference is that I'm running PPC (Dual 2.7 GHz G5), not intel.
Comment 5 Kevin M. Dean 2008-05-31 18:53:16 PDT
Now, this is back to broken with me, using the latest webkit (& Safari 3.1.1) and the latest Shockwave 11.0.0
Comment 6 Robert Blaut 2008-07-29 12:39:31 PDT
Confirmed issue in the latest WebKit 35407 for Mac OS X. The bug is *not* visible in WebKit for Windows XP.
Comment 7 Alexey Proskuryakov 2022-07-01 11:35:33 PDT
Mass closing plug-in bugs, as plug-in support has been removed from WebKit.

Please comment and/or reopen if this still affects WebKit in some way.
