We should probably merge https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/blink/+/b8915c6d9885fe3ded1cd10d6dbba240daf4ec9e Proper error recovery in parenthesized expressions in CSS grammar. Errors in parenthesized expressions inside functions should be recognized.

I took the test case from Chromium patch and turned it into JSFiddle: Link - https://jsfiddle.net/831gLxt5/ Safari Technology Preview 152 and Safari 15.6.1 are showing it as "PASS" similar to Chrome Canary 107. I am going to mark this as "RESOLVED CONFIGURATION CHANGED". Please reopen, if you think the underlying issue is not fixed. Thanks!
