Move the mouse over the message list and the label list - the google chat widget will move up and down slightly.

Saw this happening on: Google Chrome 26.0.1397.2 (Official Build 179372) dev OS Linux WebKit 537.28 (@140956) JavaScript V8 3.16.8.1

Is this the little thing to the left of message view on GMail? I don't think that I can reproduce with r142148 on Mac port.

Yes, it has a line containing your avatar, a telephone icon, and a video-conversation icon at the top - followed by a list of contacts. You may need to click on the black speech bubble to make it visible.

I haven't been able to reproduce, but it sounds like it could be a sub-pixel painting issue as opposed to a layout issue. If that's the case, it could be Chrome-specific.

Google Chat is gone and also Gmail / Safari / WebKit all have evolved. So Marting this as 'RESOLVED CONFIGURATION CHANGED'.
