View the results using a VNC client. Actual Results: Large black borders are displayed around form input elements Expected Results: Form elements should appear as per a 'normal' X server Build Date & Platform: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (precise) i686 libwebkitgtk-1.0-0 1.8.3-0ubuntu0.12.04.1 libwebkitgtk-1.0-common 1.8.3-0ubuntu0.12.04.1 libwebkitgtk-3.0-0 1.8.3-0ubuntu0.12.04.1 libwebkitgtk-3.0-common 1.8.3-0ubuntu0.12.04.1 (I don't know how these version numbers correspond to those offered by bugzilla.) This is about composite, not VNC. I get the ugly black borders in Midori 0.5.6 (with webkitgtk 2.2.2), if composite is turned off in xorg.conf. This is with nvidia 325.15 Turning on composite, fixes the problem.
