Summary Canvas Does Not Always Render Bezier Curves Or Quadratic Curves Correctly

Reported 2012-12-17 08:14:48 PST
If you open the attached webpage on a Mac running 10.8.2 using Safari or the latest WebKit nightly you should see several additional thin lines appearing through the text at various positions. If you open the attached webpage in Firefox then the output looks correct (I have attached screenshots showing both WebKit and Firefox). I have also compared this with a Mac running 10.7.5 and the output also looks correct in Safari and Chrome so it appears to be related to 10.8.2.

I think this is hardware specific. I was unable to reproduce on an AMD card, and an integrated graphics Intel. Could you please attach a System Profile?

This is a retina Macbook Pro, uses Intel 4000 unless something else was triggering the discrete gpu.

I noticed that 'InRadar' has been added to the keywords so is this a graphics driver issue rather than a WebKit issue? Thanks. Kevin.

We should wait to see if this reproduces on 10.8.3 when released.

The fix for this issue was needed outside the WebKit project, therefore this is being resolved as 'Moved'. This should now be fixed in shipping software.
