Load the image using the nightly build.

Here is what I have observed. It cannot be reliably reproduced, but I have at least one of those three:

1/ complete freeze of the whole GUI, except for the mouse. I can still connect to OS X via SSH.

2/ image gets totally corrupted

3/ huge slowdown of the whole GUI: you can see that a few seconds are skipped (8:47:50 .. then 8:47:53 three seconds later) on the digital clock (mine displays seconds)

No diagnostic report is generated.

Are you actually on 10.8.0, not 10.8.2? Can you try updating to 10.8.2 to see if this still happens?

I think that it would be better to have a Radar report about this, as this is most likely an issue outside WebKit. Could you please file one via <http://bugreport.apple.com>?

Agreed, this should be reported via http://bugreport.apple.com, not here.

OK I will do that. I specified 10.8 because the drop down list only had this one, but I'm actually on 10.8.2.
