I tried this on google:
-Perform a search,
-once the search results show up,
-try double-clicking the search field again. in order to highlight the word
If it is one word; then all the characters, accept the right-farthest character are highlighted; all of them should have been highlighted. In the case of multiple words the problem affects the right most word only, double clicking again, highlights the entire sentence, including the the unhighlighted character. I hope I'm making sense.
