Created attachment 115992 [details] The overbar is too low and overlaps the "17". In the attached example, <math><mover><mn>17</mn><mo>_</mo></mover></math>, the _ is too low and overlaps the 17, so it can't be seen clearly. Beyond fixing this bug, vertical placement of overscripts and underscripts must depend on the actual glyph(s), not just overall font heights, to avoid being too high or too low.

Resolving as WORKSFORME. The bar in the testcase does not stretch for me with latin modern math, but that's a separate issue. I opened bug 159513 for that.
