As the whole GNOME has adopted lzma compression (.xz) as the standard tarball compression, webkit-gtk should do the same. Additional benefits include better compression ratio. Patch upcoming.

Unfortunately, I couldn't fully test this patch, as distcheck in trunk seems to be currently broken :S
