When highlighting long text strings in a line edit (e.g. the google search bar) in the Qt Demo Browser, the text will be rendered outside the line edit.

Reproduced in 4.6 with arora:
- Go to google.com
- Write a lot of text in the search bar
- Select some text
At this point I can see 2-3 pixels wide of text overpainted
If I switch tab and come back, the bug is reproduced as on the screenshot.
