This bug is specific to Safari on iOS. It is not seen on Safari on macOS, or with other browsers.
If you click and drag, or do Cmd+A, elements that have the style "visibility: hidden" also get selected. This looks very odd as you get strange selection markers in odd places.

Start the selection on the "noVNC" text, and then drag the markers around to get free floating selection markers over empty areas.
