This bug is specific to Safari on iOS. It is not seen on Safari on macOS, or with other browsers. If you click and drag, or do Cmd+A, elements that have the style "visibility: hidden" also get selected. This looks very odd as you get strange selection markers in odd places. You can test it here: https://novnc.com/noVNC/vnc.html Start the selection on the "noVNC" text, and then drag the markers around to get free floating selection markers over empty areas.
