Ben
Strange rendering bug which affects my main menu on http://downstairs.com .
I've made a test page at http://www.downstairs.com/webkitbug/
When SPANs with links inside wrap to a newline their background-image gets shifted or cropped. Hard to explain, check the example and resize the window.

I manage to find website on wayback archive and change the test case to following JSFIddle:
https://jsfiddle.net/h6xfzkc5/
Although, wayback archive didn't captured:
http://www.downstairs.com/webkitbug/test.css
So we don't know what was in above 'CSS' file. :-(
@Karl - any input - we can add random images for span as background but if you have any idea, let me know.

I don't think there is enough information to guess what is happening here.
The background image could be on the wrapper or on the individual links. etc.
Let's close with the hope if the issue still exists, someone would report it.
