Description Juan Falgueras 2008-09-25 12:36:10 PDT
Years of expansion of the best open source and greatly supported platform for teaching millions of people that are knowing that Safari not, FireFox is necessary to use Moodle yet for the simple thing of editing HTML text boxes. It's a pity. Several issues make Safari unusable with TinyMCE, HTMLArea nor many other open-source technologies. Not to mention MathML.

Which is the profile of user Safari is thought for?

Who or what is "Moodle"? The bug title is incredibly unclear.

As far as I'm aware recent versions of WebKit work correctly with TinyMCE and HTMLArea, except for minor issues. I do not see the connection between these HTML editing libraries and MathML.

Oh my God! Moodle is a standard with which near every teacher in the world is today supporting his internet material, questionaries, forums, etc.

Mac has always been an important educational tool. wasn't it?

The specification of version 1.01 of the MathML format was released in July 1999 and version 2.0 appeared in February 2001.

If you try to work as a FireFox 2 agent with Safari and Moodle with TinyMCE, either, it won't work.

All of this problems have been opened there in Moodle for years. Until when?

My apologizes for been so rude is this, but not only for me, for many mates here at the University, is an issue we all every day suffer.
