Circles should cause issues either, if drawn in the same way. What is the state that is different?

Agreed that this should work with circles as it used to do and is probably a regression in WK1 rendering. Given the purpose of those two tests is not about rendering, fixing it this way ensures we do not regress the parts of WK1 implementation that these tests were written for.

Makes sense. Can you file a bug about the rendering regression? I'm not quite sure about the details here (is it reproducible? are we confident that it's a regression?)
