Vidible.tv videos at huffingtonpost.com play but appear all black (audio and still images okay) in Epiphany, Surf-2, MiniBrowser. No problem in Firefox.

Can you point to a certain URL or URLs we can test instead of searching the paper ourselves?

I tried with WPE with its custom JHBuild and minibrowser and I don't get a blank screen but video playback seems accelerated so it is wrong too.

If it helps, behavior of Epiphany has now changed. https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/what-waterboarding-is-really-like_us_5ab3b4bae4b008c9e5f4d6b5 WebKitGTK+ 2.20.2 Most recent updates from Ubuntu 18.4 repository (main, universe, restricted, multiverse, partner; security, updates, backports) Epiphany 3.28.1 Video says "Content loading. . ." and goes no further Surf-2.0 and MiniBrowser (supplied with WebKit) Video plays audio with blank (all black) screen. Firefox Video plays as expected.

Installed gstreamer-gl. Problem persists in Epiphany 3.28.1 Video says "Content loading. . ." and goes no further Surf-2.0 and MiniBrowser (supplied with WebKit) Video plays as expected. Firefox Video plays as expected.
