Filtering in the console hides messages that don't match a given search query. It isn't very helpful when I want to see what was logged right before/after the matching message.
Command-F in Chrome DevTools shows a search field, which works similarly to a text resource search.
Chrome DevTools also have a filter field, but it's hidden behind a funnel icon and I don't think there's a keyboard shortcut for it.
