(In reply to comment #0) > I'm sorry I can't provide more specific information :(. Don't worry :) What version of Safari were you using (Safari 2.0.4 or Safari 3 Beta)? Were you using a nightly and if so, what was the revision number of it (r#####)? Does this happen every time you try to log into Hotmail or was it just one time? Do you have a rough idea of what the URLs that kept redirecting were (ie: hotmail.com -> live.com -> a.b.c.whatever.com -> hotmail.com and so on)? I am using Safari 3.03 Beta; the latest released by Apple's Software Update, in OS X 10.4.10; Webkits revision #26602 (latest as of 15 Oct) I typed in hotmail.com. This occurs with mail.live.com as well. http://hotmail.com redirects to http://lc1.bay0.hotmail.passport.com/cgi-bin/login redirects to http://login.live.com/login.srf?id=2 redirects to https://login.live.com/login.srf?id=2&lc=1033 redirects to http://www.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/sbox?t=97mZRZt1EHTl8DUs4VPCdkuXo2KRei!!SnWC68ms8qgg25BWZeSKK1sUvdrsCdWDGzenCb*CNjwrCzRClsSjaAhXvPOE*dnYY3ieR*Xn8ij69dK6EeMrBE00qdgeD*voW6&p=9bmkeeD89Ae9dti1VKOPJ6qOR7o1e4s9cygqRAjJn9N1rXJP2v!HXhushFWTEaZIUZFrrdidpYpIO4ZGEiaqXLUIU8Q6xvxq6nflO0w4nMrZ!GVudiqFEs7!mMJyIiwJZqA29kMQc6ZepyA9ZMmB*PpKtWOD82Lgb7Dp!PqbdR0F8$&lc=1033&id=2 redirects to http://bl110w.blu110.mail.live.com/mail/mail.aspx?&ip=10.6.0.231&d=d2533&mf=20 and back to http://login.live.com/?id=2 (In addition to comment #2) This happens every time. Also note that I am logged on with a cookie to Hotmail, and I used "enhanced security" I have the same problem with safari 3 and 3.1 on leopard, as well as nightly builds. Things are definitely not as bad the first time the page is loaded - maybe it gets triggered if the user opts to save their email and/or password at login? Can anybody suggest more information that would be useful for me to provide in order to help debug this problem? |
