Click on New Post in the top left
Try placing the caret into the editable region. Nothing happens. Resize the editable region with the drag handle (at its lower left hand corner). After doing so, you can place the caret w/o a problem.
Doesn't occur with TinyMCE (which the WordPress team uses), so I'm going to make this an evangelism issue for now.

Note also that clicking on the "Code" tab doesn't switch panes.

This doesn't happen if you spoof as Firefox.

Looks like the WP guys fixed this.
