parity mozilla parity opera - regression bug filed. depends on foreignObject support. if someone has, or is building, please check and comment this bug. this URL demonstrates audio playing on CSS pseudo-event.

I'm anxious to understand how audio in SVG is to be implemented by webkit. foreignobject has I understand been enabled, but html audio seems not to... the example works well in mozilla a filed regression crash bug for opera...
