1. Go to Google Reader 2. Use List Mode for entries 3. Click on any entry, this will be expanded with the excerpts 4. Click on any other entry, the first excerpt will be shrunk, but the second entry does not expand its excerpt.

This works for me using a local debug build of WebKit r27683 with Safari 3 Public Beta on Tiger. Which WebKit Nightly Build did you try?
