Printing a PDF online (as opposed to saving the file and printing) crashes every time (printing the PDF locally from Acrobat or Preview does not).
Can you please attach the crash log?
If you have any Safari extensions installed (Saft, PithHelmet, SafariStand, etc.) please remove or disable them to see if this fixes the crashing.
The crash log would also be useful.

Thanks for the crash log, Trey. You said "any" URL causes this error. Humor me. Does it crash printing http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw4.pdf after loading it in the browser? It appears you have Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional, Flash 9.0.45.0 and DivXDecoder 6.4.0 installed as well. What type of Epson Inkjet printer are you printing to? Does the crash occur if you "Save as PDF" instead of trying to print the document? (I realize this is redundant, but I'm trying to determine the extent of the behavior.) If you create a different printer (such as an Apple LaserWriter Pro 630) and print to that, does Safari still crash? If you uninstall Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional (or print to the same printer form a different Mac OS X 10.4.10 system), does the crash still occur? If you have the "Activity Monitor" application open while you try to print, does it show that your computer is running low on free memory?
Sorry for the delay--I haven't had time to test the last few days. To answer your questions: IRS W-4 does cause a crash (along with any other PDF I have tried to print through the browser--both Safari and WebKit) I do have said Flash and Acrobat versions, as well as DivXDecoder (is that a problem?). I'm not sure how to connect another printer that is not present, and I currently only have the Epson to print to (aside from Acrobat print to PDF). Interestingly, the "save as pdf" via OSX in the print dialogue does work fine, but printing to Acrobat 8 printer (to default, standard settings) crashes just like printing to the Epson. Activity Monitor shows I have plenty of memory available (about 1.7 GB free)--additionally, I tested on fresh boot with no other apps running. All that's left is uninstalling Acrobat, which I was hoping to not have to do, but I will get back on that. Oh, and the Epson is the 1400.
Ok, I have more information now. Here's the deal... Uninstalled Acrobat 8 and printed successfully from the browser. Attempted to reinstall Acrobat, and ended up jumping through hoops for half my day to get it reinstalled. As it turns out, I ended up having to uninstall Safari 3 in order to successfully run the CS3 installer. Details of the exact issue I experienced are discussed here (empty CS3 installer alert window and all): 14@1015.tgLXhWJIR2V@.3bc478ee/">http://www.adobeforums.com/webx?14@1015.tgLXhWJIR2V@.3bc478ee/ Note: I never had the CS3 beta installed, so I didn't bother with the clean up script, but I did mount the ExtendScript and rolled back Safari to v.2 (I believe the latter is the kicker). As a test, once I finally got Acrobat Pro reinstalled, I tried printing from Safari 2.0.4 and it worked. I then reinstalled Safari 3.0.3 and tried again, and bam! There you go. So it appears there is an obvious conflict between Acrobat 8(.1.1) Pro and Safari 3 Beta. I hope this is resolved in the full release version in Leopard, but at least it isn't a major workflow hinderance. I can certainly work around it for the time being. Hope this helps. -Trey
Confirming based on Trey's thorough testing. (I don't have Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional myself.)

This is a known problem with Acrobat. It's not a problem in WebKit, so changing resolution to INVALID.
