Summary REGRESSION: Freeze when downloading from macupdate.com
Alexey Proskuryakov
Reported 2007-07-18 11:39:56 PDT
Steps to reproduce: 1) Open http://macupdate.com/info.php/id/24219/ez-money 2) Click "Download Now". Results: Safari freezes (sample attached). I have reproduced several times in a row. This is a fairly recent regression (I think, r24064-r24399).

Created attachment 15564 [details] sample Forgot to mention: this happens with most/all downloads from MacUpdate, I just picked a relatively small file for the report.

Looking at the sample, but without a Safari machine to test on, I wonder if it was <http://trac.webkit.org/projects/webkit/changeset/24365> <http://trac.webkit.org/projects/webkit/changeset/24366>

I can confirm this behavior with a local debug build of WebKit r24439 with Safari 3.0 (522.12) on Mac OS X 10.4.10 (8R218). It took me SIX tries to get it to reproduce, though.
