Bug 14013 – The top menu does not render correctly in WebKit

The top menu (Home - Online Learning Guide - Financial Aid etc) does not render correctly in Safari. It renders correctly in FireFox Mac / PC, IE v6+, Opera.

Thanks for the bug report, Adesh!  Could you attach a screenshot?  Use Cmd-Shift-4, then draw a rectangle around the Safari menu to capture it.

Do you have an APEs, haxies or Input Managers (like SafariStand, Saft, PithHelmet, etc.) installed?

Confirmed with r22014. ToT renders better than Safari 2.0.4, but is very wrong.

Spoofing as any of the user agents in Safari 2 causes this site to render fine (Netscape 4 being the lone exception). Their user agent check seems to be server side as well.

Sorry, I thought you meant Safari's menu bar was drawn incorrectly.  :(

Wow, still pretty hosed on ToT WebKit (though I see different issues than the attached screenshot, they are quite obviously quite broken)

I recommend this bug be closed; I just checked and the site has been redesigned to not have the top tab menu anymore. Thus, this doesn't seem to be an issue anymore.

True- unfortunately, looks like we don't have any information to fix the root cause anymore, so marking as INVALID. And per comment 3, this probably wasn't a WebKit bug anyway.
